According to the Extraterrestrial Guides, there is a quarantine on earth to protect us from ETs that don't belong to the Confederations that follow the Cosmic Plan. This has included battles on earth between them.
The Galactic Confederation is form by voluntary galactic civilizations grouping of worlds in the Milky Way. It is the meeting of all those planets that have reached a state of evolution that allows them to assume the service of help and advancement of other planets that are in a state of incipient evolution.
The grouping of Galaxies (spiral nebulae), also forms a Confederation called the "Great Star" governed by a Council of Councils. The worlds that are part of the Confederation have reached a high degree of evolution.
The Galactic Confederation and the Confederation of the Star do not permit Extraterrestrial visitants that want to interrupt our final steps in our evolutionary jump to the fourth dimension.
In our history, there have been instances of clashes in the sky between them, and sometimes some of these negative visitors had been shot down and crashed on earth, this includes the Vimanas in Ancient India.
The War of the Sons of Light Against the Sons of Darkness described in the Dead Sea Scrolls reference to the fight between these two extraterrestrial groups, one that follows the Cosmic Plan ( the sons of light), and the one that fight against it ( the sons of darkness). Not the Jews vs Gentils.

2. UFO battle in Nuremberg Germany, April 14, 1561:
"As the sun rose on April 14, 1561, over the German city of Nuremberg, the residents saw what they described as some kind of aerial battle take place in its glare — complete with the erratic dance of orbs, crosses, cylinders, and the appearance of a large and mysterious black arrow-shaped object — all followed by a crash-landing somewhere beyond the city limits.
Later that month, local artist Hans Glaser produced a broadsheet (pictured above) offering a woodcut engraving of the scene, and a detailed description of what was witnessed."

3. UFO battle, Stralsund, (Sweden then) Germany. April 8, 1665
"On the afternoon of 8th April 1665 in Stralsund in Germany near the Baltic Sea, one of the most intriguing incidents of historical UFO encounters would unfold. On this particular afternoon, at around 2 pm, several fishermen would notice an unusually large swarm of birds over the sea, seemingly coming out of the north.
As the men watched, this swarm of birds “changed to battleships” in the sky. It is most likely here that there was not a physical change, but the men mistook the objects for birds when first seeing them.
Either way, what followed next was an aerial battle that would perhaps sit better within the confines of a Star Wars movie.
The aerial crafts would fight “one against the other” during which a “lot of smoke developed”. Furthermore, more and more ships would appear in the sky, each immediately going to battle with these various sized and shaped crafts. This would continue for several hours.
Then, another huge object appeared overhead.
Following the “vanishing” of the vision (or the ceasing of the battle and dispersing of the aerial vehicles), a short calm ensued.
Then, a “flat round form” appeared in the sky. It was, according to Francisci “like a plate (and) looking like the big hat of a man”."

4. Currently, the most famous is the UFO that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, USA in 1947.
"The Roswell incident is a collection of events and myths surrounding the 1947 crash of a United States Army Air Forces balloon near Roswell, New Mexico. Operated from the nearby Alamogordo Army Air Field and part of the top secret Project Mogul, the balloon was intended to detect Soviet nuclear tests.
After metallic and rubber debris was recovered by Roswell Army Air Field personnel, the United States Army announced their possession of a "flying disc".
This announcement made international headlines but was retracted within a day. Obscuring the true purpose and source of the crashed balloon, the Army subsequently stated that it was a conventional weather balloon (??)."
