ASTRAL TRAVEL (Dreams)
- Excerpt from Rama's 24 Practices -
“We live in a universe without limits. The only limit is our ignorance.”
Human beings have, in addition to their physical body, six other vehicles, albeit subtle ones. One of these is the astral body, the vehicle of emotions and desires, connected to the physical body by an umbilical cord of energy known as the "Silver Cord,", before the silver cord is snapped, and the golden bowl is broken when one dies. Indeed, the Bible, referring to death, says:
"Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern."(Ecclesiastes 12:6).

During sleep, we always experience astral projection, detaching from the physical body and having experiences in the astral dimension. ALL DREAMS ARE ASTRAL TRAVELS, BUT NOT ALL ASTRAL TRAVELS ARE DREAMS.
One can project their consciousness without being asleep; for this, deep relaxation is sufficient. If we are in good health, conscious astral projection presents no difficulties. For this practice, it is recommended that our stomach be free of digestive processes; therefore, it is advisable to perform the exercise before eating or at least two hours afterward.
Astral travel is something we naturally and spontaneously experience every night during sleep. The effort required in this regard is to be fully conscious and to perform it after our meditations, exercising our will, which should have been strengthened by the inner discipline we have been assimilating from previous practices (breathing, protection, relaxation, concentration, and meditation).
Every process of inner growth points toward the natural emergence of capacities that are part of our nature and that will allow us to expand our capacity for Love in service, because we will discover that we live in a universe without limits, and that the only limit is our ignorance and our fears, to which we often cling.
Astral travel is entering another reality, an inner reality and manifestation of another plane of experience, reserved for human beings.
Let's remember that before we are born we are in the astral world, during sleep we return to the astral plane, and upon death we return there as well. We should then consider: Which plane of existence is more real? In which do we spend more time, the astral or the physical? Since the answer is obvious, we must reflect on why we tend to forget that other plane of life that is more real than the physical.
Remembering dreams is a sign of maturity and part of the process of expanding consciousness. Just as we wake up in the morning and then get out of bed, we must also awaken our consciousness to the entire universe of possibilities that surrounds us. We must react and open our eyes to a reality that, even though we haven't fully perceived it yet, continues to exist, to manifest itself, and to influence our material world.
Before embarking on the adventure of conscious astral travel, we must overcome all fears; nothing bad can happen that we don't allow. Fear is the gateway through which all dangers and threats arrive; and this fear stems from the fact that conscious astral travel reproduces the symptoms of death, such that the same sensations we perceive when we die are repeated when one consciously projects; among them, ceasing to feel the body and abandoning it; and this is
BECAUSE DURING SLEEP, ONE CEASES TO BE THE PERSON ONE BELIEVES ONE IS, TO BECOME THE PERSON ONE TRULY IS.
IF ONE KNOWS ONE IS PROTECTED (REMEMBER THE EXISTENCE OF OUR AURA), THEN ONE IS PROTECTED.
Let us give way to the conviction and certainty that we have the protection of higher entities with whom we share vibrational ties, including our extraterrestrial guide brothers and sisters, as well as other spiritual beings who will deliver us from the threat of lower astral entities; entities that always exist and swarm in those planes, seeking to enter the bodies of the incarnate. But the real danger is our insecurity, our own fear.
